Barry launched his investment industry career in 2001 at Morgan Stanley after relocating from his hometown of Newfoundland, Canada. Driven by a passion for financial planning, he joined Merrill Lynch in 2008, where he honed his skills in wealth management and financial advising. In the summer of 2022, Barry and his team transitioned to Stifel, where he now serves as Managing Director/Investments. With over $500 million in assets under management, Barry works with a diverse range of clients, including corporations, family offices, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. His approach is characterized by a meticulous focus on due diligence and a commitment to providing clients with sophisticated financial guidance and exceptional service.
Barry’s dedication to financial planning has helped hundreds of families pursue their retirement goals over the years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2006. He holds multiple licenses, including Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, and Life and Health insurance licenses.
Outside of his career, Barry is the owner and operator of the Missouri Karate Association in St. Louis, where he instills confidence and discipline in his students. Barry resides in Town and Country, Missouri, with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons, Bryan and Liam. In his free time, he enjoys golf, karate, traveling, and cheering on his sons at their hockey games.

Ben began his professional career in the Ag Biotech industry in 2009 at Monsanto, gaining valuable experience in business development and innovation. In 2016 he moved to an AgBiotech startup company, where he was tasked with pitching to venture capital firms for fundraising. This initially sparked his interest in the financial world and when the company became public in 2018, Ben decided to pivot his career and enter the financial services sector. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2019 as a Financial Advisor, leveraging his background in business strategy and fundraising to help clients pursue their financial goals. In 2021, Ben joined Barry’s advisory team, where he continues to build meaningful relationships with clients and offer personalized financial guidance.

Ben holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, Ben enjoys woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his wife, Sandy, and their three children, Solana, Sagan, and Lochlann, in Wildwood, Missouri. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Ben values both personal and professional growth, always staying committed to learning and evolving in his field.
Tami has been a dedicated professional in the financial services industry for more than four decades, starting her career as a Sales Assistant at Prudential Bache Securities in 1985. Over the years, she has built a wealth of experience working at prominent firms such as Paine Webber and Merrill Lynch. Tami has been an integral part of the Power Wealth Management Team for the past 10 years, where she focuses on developing long-term relationships with clients. She works closely with the team to prioritize clients' goals, ensuring that their financial planning and wealth transfer needs are met with care and precision.
Tami is passionate about providing exceptional service to clients and believes that this is key to The Power Wealth Management Team’s success. Tami holds a Bachelor of Science in Art from Illinois State University. Outside of work, Tami enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and their two children, Christopher and Sarah, as well as traveling, hiking, and photography—especially exploring National Parks.
Bre began her financial services career in 2017 with Bank of America as a Teller and quickly advanced to the role of Relationship Banker in 2019. In this role, she excelled at helping customers address their financial needs, consistently exceeding goals for opening checking accounts, credit cards, home loan referrals, and even Merrill Lynch referrals. Bre’s passion for client service and her genuine care for every customer she worked with led her to explore a deeper path in the financial world. In December 2019, she transitioned to Merrill Lynch, where she expanded her focus to investments. Bre joined Barry’s team in 2022, bringing her strong background in client service and banking to help clients pursue their long-term financial goals.

Outside of her work, Bre enjoys attending Blues and Cardinals games, traveling, and cherishing time with her family. Originally from Farmington, Connecticut, Bre moved to St. Louis at the age of five and now resides with her family in the area.
Lisa spent over 20 years at Monsanto, where she gained invaluable experience in the corporate world before making a significant career shift. She transitioned to the financial industry, joining her husband, Barry, at Merrill Lynch in March 2022. Lisa moved to Stifel with the team in July 2022. Lisa plays a part in strengthening client relationships. Her extensive background in business and science allows her to bring a unique perspective to the team’s approach to financial planning.
Lisa lives in Town and Country, Missouri, with Barry, and their two sons, who are both active in hockey. As a proud hockey mom, Lisa is frequently traveling to their games, cheering them on, and enjoying every moment of watching them play. She values the importance of family and enjoys being an active part of her children’s sporting and extracurricular activities.
